Social Good in Action, Inc. (SGIA)

Social Good in Action will be supporting families that lost everything due to tropical storms, fire, dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, or personal life issues. We'll be giving them some of the necessities that they need to help them get their lives back together.

Doing what God has called us to do!

Items needed:
As a general rule, non-perishable (canned or dried) food is welcome. Also,
include a hand-operated can opener or two with your donation, cases of water.

Personal-care items

(masks, gloves, sanitizer, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, combs, hairbrushes,
shampoo, feminine care products, etc.) are also useful. NEW underwear and
socks (in the original packaging) or gently used, cleaning supplies are always needed, as are baby products such as diapers (all sizes), wipes, formula, Bedding, towels and washcloths, kitchen items (new or gently used) dishes, pots, and pans, coffee makers, paring knives, etc) are always welcomed by those who have lost everything.
Be sure to use common sense in choosing items. A general rule-of-thumb is to give or purchase what you would buy for yourself. Someone there at the disaster site is probably your size and has your tastes.

We are a grassroots collaboration of organizations and individuals who decided to act on the needs and suffering of the people in Houston, Austin, Haiti, Flint, Puerto Rico, and other parts of the world.
